May 22, 2017NewSound Hearing on Monday launched an expanded price-match policy that matches all their genuine competitor’s prices in Malaysia.
“If you find a lower price, we’ll match it,” the retailer promises on its website. “The NewSound Hearing Best Price Guarantee means we won't be beaten by a genuine competitor's price offered at their centre or on their website. You'll always get the lowest price with us together with our 5-star service. So now you can worry less about the price and spend more time enjoying it.”
The site lists Hear.com and Clarisound as its first two “qualifying retailers” under the price match guarantee. The list also includes 20dB, Hearing Partners, Audiolab and Nessa.com.
The guarantee also covers “your local retailer.” A local retailer is one located in the same market area (within a 50km radius) of a local NewSound Hearing centre. A local retailer is a retail store authorized by a vendor to sell a new product with a warranty and is located in the same market area (within a 50km radius) as either the billing address or the shipping address on record for the purchase.”
The price match period is also covered for 10 days post purchase if a better deal is found.
NewSound Hearing’s new program is a “rational response” to an expanded distribution channel marked by the arrival of new entrants such as Hear.com and Nessa.com; competition against vendors selling directly; and greater competition from off-pricers, marked by Hear.com's collaboration with Clarisound.
